*If you are viewing this ad, she is still available!! *PLEASE* READ ENTIRE LISTING DESCRIPTION CAREFULLY AND ASK ANY/ALL QUESTIONS PRIOR TO PURCHASE!
*Up for adoption is this absolutely gorgeous female Holland Lop bunny for sale! She goes by the nickname of "Bun-buns", however, her full name is "Cinnabun Sugar". Her coat color is so unique; a warm cinnamon brown with creamy white paws and small black splotches throughout. SUPER soft and adorably fuzzy. She is approx. 2 yrs 1 month old as of April 7th. Personality: loving, spunky, energetic, reserved, and gentle. She has lived outdoors all her life, so she is an outdoor rabbit--however, we have certainly spoiled her =)
*Reason for selling: We originally took her in from a breeder, in hopes of showing her. However, they misrepresented her and were dishonest within the sale, and we ended up with a less than show-quality rabbit. There is not a single thing wrong with her, she just wasn't the show quality we were looking for. Nor is she 100% purebred. The breeder originally claimed that she was a "pure" Mini Lop, which she most certainly is not (she's actually quite the opposite, and is a lil' chunker :) Just not what we bargained for. Because of the overall structure of her face and body, her size, as well as her friendly temperament, we have definitely come to the conclusion that she is in fact, a Holland Lop. She has been spoiled and very well taken of, but we must now let go as we cannot carry out our plans with her in regards to showing, as well as give her the attention that she loves and needs.
Also, my mother is severely allergic- so she NEEDS A GOOD HOME ASAP!!!
**Because we had planned on showing her, she is *NOT* spayed...She is to go to a PET home ONLY-if you do not agree with bringing her to the vet and having her spayed within a reasonable time after the sale, then please DO NOT purchase. (Vet/Spay costs are the responsibility of the BUYER)
*She will be very suitable for a PET home only. We will only be releasing her to the *right* PET home ONLY, for use as a loving companion/pet animal for any family. MUST GO TO A GOOD LOVING HOME.
*Bun-buns is *NOT* a rabbit for the beginner/those without experience. She can be a bit spunky at times and is highly energetic--therefore, she MUST be given plenty of space to run around, and about 1-2 hrs of *supervised* playtime per day. She is quite the jumper, and can (and will!) jump well over 5 feet...She is an escape artist and careful care must be taken to ensure both her safety, and yours. She will require a completely covered/fenced area to run around in and a clean, secure hutch for protection against the elements; leaving no means whatsoever for possible escape while she plays. EXTRA PRECAUTIONS WILL HAVE TO BE MADE IN ORDER TO ENSURE SHE DOES NOT ESCAPE)...She is currently staying in the following hutch, which has been PERFECT--plenty of space, stands up very well to crude weather, is super easy to clean, and is affordable as well...Just a note about the hutches though, you will need to install further locks to prevent bunnies' escape! The "heart-shaped" locks originally used with her current hutch are useless and bun-buns has actually figured out how to twist them just so to open the doors--definitely not suitable for keeping your rabbit in, so we attached very simple locks to the hutch to keep it completely secure.. (See photos attached of simple locks we have screwed directly into the hutch, to further protect Bun-Buns +clips used on bottom to further prevent escape)
*She has been on a diet of both high quality pellets, hay and some veggies (carrots, lettuce, etc). She is currently eating "Wild Harvest- Adult Rabbit Advanced Nutrition Diet" (which can be found at any local Walmart store) and Kaytee brand Timothy Hay (which can also be found at Walmart)...A small bag of food and hay will be provided with the sale of this rabbit, as it is very important to *gradually* change a rabbit's diet, if needed at all. She will also come with her food bowl, water bottle, and litter box.
*Bun-buns IS litter box trained. She will need to be trained to completely tolerate handling.
*Overall, a very beautiful, wonderful pet rabbit. Because she was not properly taken care of as a baby by her previous owners/breeder, when we received her she was not properly socialized and actually afraid of humans. She now LOVES older children (ages 13++ please) and loves to be loved on. She's also great with adults as well. Was handled daily by our teenager...She's fine with being pet, however, I can honestly say she does not care for being held.
**Bun-buns definitely needs further training to really round out her manners, so committment is a necessity--therefore, also why she cannot be placed in a "beginner" home. She can be a bit skittish around humans.
*WILL ONLY BE PLACED IN THE RIGHT, LOVING HOME WITH PRIOR RABBIT EXPERIENCE!
